Here’s some free events that will be taking place this weekend in Siouxland…

The tenth annual Freedom Fest is set to take place this weekend in Sioux City.  If you are unfamiliar with Freedom Fest, this is a great chance for you to get out and see several Christian bands for free.freedom fest crowd

Bands & Performers: Bread of Stone, Viktory, Grindstone, Denise Edwards, Kemi, Daily Creek Music with Melissa Moates, Resolution 541, Written

Where: Grandview Park

When: Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 1:30 p.m.

Also, this weekend the 185th Air Refueling Wing will host an air show with an agriculture theme.  The Air National Guard has hosted air shows before, but this is the first time that agriculture recognition has been given in their air shows.

Air Performers: U.S. Air Force’s F-16 “Viper” and a P-51 Mustang, an P-51(Mustang)authentic World War II aircraft.  Other featured performers include an A-10 Thunderbolt, AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter, KC-135 Stratotankers, and a AV-8B Harrier.
