What services do you offer? We custom build adaptive technology for individuals with limitation. We modify toys or other devices to be switch adapted. We also run ChairAbility which allows other individuals or organizations to donate unneeded equipment or supplies and we donate them back to individuals, families, or organizations that are in need.
How many years has your business been a member of the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce? This is our first year as a member of the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce.
What is the best part about being a Chamber member? Being such a small business, the Chamber has allowed us to network with other local businesses and owners to help us grow and find answers to problems that they have already gone through.
What is a fun or surprising fact about your company/business? Ability Tech was started and still operates out of our basement, but some aspects have grown into Grandpa’s garage. Another interesting fact is that Ability Tech started with an idea to help our son Kayden play baseball more independently and that has turned into “how can we help everyone else” that feels left behind in the adaptive technology community. We put the benefit of our customers before the benefit of Ability Tech, we are “Adapting for Change”.
