Our Community and Employee Support in 2020

2020 has been a year like none other – no words have ever rang truer. At Seaboard Triumph Foods, we are lucky to continue our work and provide donations to employees and the community throughout the year.

In addition to safety precautions, our organization has experienced changes in our Executive Leadership team. To see all the new faces, check out this webpage: https://seaboardtriumphfoods.squarespace.com/executive-leadership-team

This year we implemented new practices to keep our employees safe during the pandemic while continuing to perform our vital role as a part of the global food chain. Our practices include face masks, face shields, daily temp checks, sanitation stations, social distancing, and new lab testing procedures like 24-hour turn around tests through our in-house Health Service professionals.

We also introduced a Manager In Training (MIT) Development Program to provide leadership training for our employees. This allows them to gain the knowledge necessary to be a successful leader within STF, while expanding their opportunities for promotion.

Celebrating and valuing our employees is a core component of our culture here at Seaboard Triumph Foods. This year was no different. In total, we gave our employees over 45,000 pounds of meat and gave away money to 40 different winners in our Warm Hearts-Warm Homes, 10 days of giving contest.

Since we established ourselves in Sioux City in 2017, Seaboard Triumph Foods has been supporting the community. Each year we donate a significant amount to local non-profits and the Sioux City School District. Because as a large employer in Siouxland, we are dedicated to giving back to the community in ways that help now and in the future of this wonderful place we call home.

Some of the local non-profits we have donated to in 2020 are Hope Street of Siouxland, Support Siouxland Soldiers, Goodwill of the Great Plains Shoe & Mitten Party, United Way of Siouxland and the Food Bank of Siouxland.

As we look toward the year ahead, we are excited about new ways to positively impact the communities in and around Sioux City. We are Siouxland Proud!
